Albion’s bailout plan

In a statement released by the DDR last Tuesday, the presidential administration announced a $5,000,000.00 bailout plan for Albion College to cover the costs of needed expenses, including the implementation of flat screen TVs in Old Keller, art sculptures in the science complex and bicycles for the bike library.

It is rumored that a number of sorority women, who may or may not actually go to Albion, may have consumed alcohol in disproportionate amounts at their formal, and an unconfirmed number of Wesley RAs may or may not have been forced to resign due to alcohol violations.

The Briton’s men’s tennis team traveled to the Los Angelos, Calif., area over spring break to take on multiple west coast tennis teams. When we arrived at LAX Airport we were greeted by warm weather and palm trees all around us. After arriving at our hotel in Santa Ana (Orange County), the team headed off to the courts to have their first outdoor practice of the season.

Softball gets fresh start

As a first-year, I didn’t have a clue as to what to expect for my first collegiate softball tournament. Obviously I was extremely excited for our week-long trip to Kissimmee, Fla., but on top of that, I was also a little nervous. Fortunately, I had a 22-hour bus drive to look forward to, giving me plenty of time to relax.

We landed in Los Angeles, Calif.,with enough time to have an afternoon co-ed practice. We were all so excited to finally be on spring break. We played for about two hours and then returned back to the hotel. We all hung out together at the pool that night and went to bed early since we were all so tired from traveling.
